To reduce food waste, think about using up all of the food you buy, and buy seasonal. As I get my veggie box, I only get what’s in season and I make sure I use all of it.
Plan ahead and be creative, omelettes, quiches and risottos are the best to throw mixture of leftovers !
In my Groobarbs box this week, I received a pumpkin, a bag of potatoes, a broccoli, a lettuce head, carrots, onions and eggs. Here are recipes I intend to make.

Monday – Pumpkin Risotto
Tuesday – Carrot & Coriander soup
Wednesday – Broccoli quiche & green salad
Thursday – Omelette & green salad
Friday – Steamed fish with roasted potatoes onions and carrots
