Coffee in Manchester, Northern Quarter.

Waking up to a bright blue sky on Sunday, we decided to hit the street & hunt for a great breakfast to start the day. It was early. Evelyn’s popped into my mind. I love Evelyn’s vibe: its friendly staff, the sneaky view over the open kitchen, the pink or blue lattes, the simple menu that guarantees freshly prepared food … so many reasons to feel at home in there. You can come as you are, like me every Sundays: Yoga pants, messy buns and a smile on my hungry face.
Vegans, Vegetarians, or Meat lover will find happiness here: swap the old borin’ poached egg on toast for a Shakshuka or Kedgeree.
The food is one thing, but the staff is just as important to make you feel welcomed and cared for. They totally get you, care for you & it shows. Wonder if the shakshuka is too spicy ? Have a little taste first. Not enough custard with the crumble ? Worry not. A hug jar will be brought to you.
Personal picks ?
The Shakshuka Baked Egg for breakkie, with a blue latte….yes because it is a blue latte !
The  Vegan Green bowl and Apple Crumble for lunch – all about that balance baby !
The “One More Thyme” cocktail with Smashed avocados, pickled chilli & crackers for an after-work catch up with the girls
To end this lovely adventure, we took a little stroll down the Makers Market on Stevenson Square, ideal to enjoy the sunshine  and appreciate the inspiring and eclectic mix of Manchester based artists, designers, creative, producers and bakers.

Coffee in Manchester.

I have been waiting patiently for weeks to try this place, and the day has come !

♡ Another Heart to Feed ♡

Just the name made me want to go because it is so cute! And what a place.

This Melbourne inspired coffee shop is everything I like about a coffee shop:

  1. The smell of coffee & fresh toasts as you open the front door
  2. The groovy rhythm in the background
  3. The cosy tables to gather with friends & the stools by the windows for the singletons like me
  4. The menu full of avocados, poached eggs, acai bowls, granola to name a few
  5. The friendly staff who genuinely care

Seriously, this is by far my favourite coffee shop, I wish them a lot of success., thank you for bringing some sunshine !

The mashed avocado, eggs and mushrooms, the French toasts, the granola… pretty much everything on the menu is to my liking !

This place is one of my favourite to chill with a book day dreaming.

Albert Schloss

Albert Schloss

This place is simply one of my favorite places to hang out in Manchester. Whether you want a yummy brunch with the girls, a quick business lunch or after-work drink (S!!) Albert Schloss never disappoints. Just off Deansgate, its modern décor and open fire makes the space very welcoming and warm, even though it is a big place.

Once you are here, you simply don’t want to leave !

My favorites:

  • Brunch: Avocado & Eggs on toasted Sourdough with an Almond Latte
  • Cocktail: Coco Mademoiselle Martini: Absolute Vanilla, Prosecco, Chambord, Pinapple, Lime
